Filippo Turconi secures another important result: the 2005-born rider from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, fresh off his victory at the Trofeo Piva last Sunday, once again stood out at the Trofeo Città di San Vendemiano. He claimed an excellent fourth place, finishing at the front of the reduced sprint among the group of eight chasers behind solo winner Marco Schrettl.
Turconi also played a key role on the final ascent of the Muro di Ca’ del Poggio, where a strong attack from him broke up the group and set the stage for the decisive chase.
