COMUNICATO STAMPA

After the traditional parade, the race came alive upon entering the circuit in the capital, with the first attack launched by Marcellusi. The VF Group Bardiani CSF Faizanè rider, already a protagonist in yesterday’s stage, put on a show in his home stage but was caught 18 km from the finish. In the bunch sprint, Zanoncello secured his second personal top 10, the ninth for the team.
On the podium, set against the stunning backdrop of Rome, stood Faenza-born Tarozzi. No one spent more kilometers in breakaways than he did—he won the Breakaway Prize classification. Tarozzi also topped the Red Bull KM ranking with 45 points, ahead of Del Toro and Scaroni in this special intermediate sprint competition.
