Il 5 Jun, 2025
The rider from Lecco immediately secures a placement in the opening stage of the Tour of Slovenia, finishing as the top Italian. Martin Herreño crashes and is forced to withdraw due to a wrist sprain.

In the opening stage of the Tour of Slovenia, the 170 km Piran–Škofljica, Luca Colnaghi secured a top ten finish.
After the breakaway riders were caught, the peloton prepared for the final sprint, where Colnaghi, well positioned, claimed sixth place, finishing as the best-placed Italian.
The upcoming stages, particularly the second and third—more suited to sprinters—will offer new opportunities for the rider from Lecco.
Bad news regarding the young Colombian rider born in 2006, Martin Herreño, who was forced to withdraw after a crash resulted in a sprain to his left wrist.
Live coverage of tomorrow’s stage, the 162 km Velenje–Rogaška Slatina, will be broadcast on Eurosport 2 and streamed on Discovery Plus starting at 1:00 PM.
