Second consecutive Top 10 for Filippo Turconi: 9th in the stage and 9th overall.

Filippo Turconi shines once again at the Giro Next Gen: a second consecutive Top 10 finish for the talented rider from Varese, born in 2005, who claimed an impressive 9th place in the first challenging mountain stage. Just behind him, in 12th place, was fellow Italian Matteo Scalco, delivering a solid and consistent performance. Turconi was one of only two Italians—alongside Davide De Pretto (Finn)—to finish the stage in the Top 10, and he now also sits within the Top 10 of the overall standings. Stage victory and the pink jersey went to Belgian rider Jarno Widar.
