On Sunday, June 29, the Men’s Elite Road Race of the Italian Championships will take place. The national title will be contested in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with the race starting in Trieste and finishing in Gorizia after 228.8 kilometers, including a final circuit to be repeated three times. VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will line up with 11 riders, guided from the team car by team manager Roberto Reverberi, alongside Alessandro Donati, Mirko Rossato, and Luca Amoriello.

Selected for this important race are Filippo Fiorelli, coming off an excellent Giro d’Italia where he frequently finished in the Top 10; Filippo Magli, who placed 4th in the 2023 Italian Road Championships in Comano Terme; and Martin Marcellusi, another Giro standout who finished 6th in the penultimate stage. Also competing is breakaway specialist Manuele Tarozzi from Faenza. Sprinters Enrico Zanoncello, Luca Colnaghi, and Mattia Pinazzi will also be at the start. Young riders Lorenzo Conforti and Federico Biagini are set to gain valuable experience, while the lineup is completed by two climbers, Alex Tolio and Luca Covili.
