COMUNICATO STAMPA

The route of the 2025 Giro della Valle d’Aosta features five stages, starting and finishing in Aosta, and winds through various towns in the Aosta Valley and Switzerland. The cycling race will kick off on July 16 and conclude on July 20, with stages touching Aosta, Passy (France), Pré-Saint-Didier, Valsavarenche, and Valtournenche/Breuil-Cervinia.
Here are the 5 young riders selected for the race: at the start will be Andrea Montagner from Friuli, Matteo Scalco, Colombian Edward Cruz, Mattia Stenico, and Santiago Ferraro. Leading the team from the team car will be sports director Mirko Rossato.
These were the words of Mirko Rossato:
“This year’s course is probably one of the toughest in recent editions—truly high-level. Some of the best climbers in the field will be at the start. As for our goals, we’re aiming for the general classification with Scalco, who has trained specifically for this race following the Giro. The other four riders, all in their first year and born in 2006, I want to see them attacking—I expect them to race aggressively in every stage. It will also be a chance to understand, with a view to the future, what potential these young guys have.”
