COMUNICATO STAMPA

The Tour Alsace will take place from July 30 to August 3 and will feature five stages, including an individual time trial and an opening team time trial. VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected six riders for the race, led by Sports Director Mirko Rossato.
The team will be spearheaded by its more experienced riders, such as Luca Covili and Alex Tolio, while the rest of the line-up includes some of the youngest members of the squad: Filippo Cettolin, Edward Cruz, Vicente Rojas, and Filippo Turconi from Varese, who has already claimed his second victory of the season among the Under 23 category.
These are the words of DS Mirko Rossato:“The first stage, which is essentially flat, will be an opportunity to try something with Cettolin. The other stages are very tough and suited to climbers, with the final stage ending on the historic ascent of La Planche des Belles Filles, where the general classification will be decided. Our GC ambitions lie with Covili, Tolio, and Rojas. Turconi is coming off a rest period and will use this race as preparation for the Tour de l’Avenir. For Cruz and Cettolin, every opportunity will be valuable for gaining experience.”
