COMUNICATO STAMPA

Il 8 Sep, 2025
On Wednesday, September 10, the Giro della Toscana; on Thursday, the Coppa Sabatini: here are the line-ups at the start.

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will be in the spotlight this week in Tuscany with a double appointment on the Italian professional calendar: on Tuesday, September 10, the Giro della Toscana – Memorial Alfredo Martini, followed by the traditional Coppa Sabatini – Gran Premio Città di Peccioli on Thursday, September 11.

The Giro della Toscana will cover 189.4 km with start and finish in Pontedera. The double ascent of Monte Serra, the race’s key climb, will be decisive, while the finish line is set on Corso Italia. A race suited to climbers, though the finale could still hold surprises.

Line-up for the Giro della Toscana: Luca Covili, Alessandro Pinarello, Matteo Scalco, Mattia Stenico, Vicente Rojas, Alex Tolio, and Filippo Turconi from Varese.

The race will be broadcast live on RaiSport from 15:10 (CET).

The following day will feature the Coppa Sabatini, a late-season classic unfolding on the roads of the Valdera over a total distance of 197.6 km. After the start from the municipal stadium, the riders will face an initial section in line, followed by five laps of a 24.8 km circuit, including the climbs of Montefoscoli, Terricciola, and the Muro di Greta. The race will conclude with the final 12.2 km circuit, to be repeated twice, with the finish in via Mazzini.

Line-up for the Coppa Sabatini: Luca Colnaghi, Filippo Fiorelli, Alessio Martinelli, Martin Marcellusi, Luca Paletti, Lorenzo Conforti, and Filippo Magli, who recently placed tenth at the GP Larciano.

Live TV coverage will be available on RaiSport from 15:10 (CET).

The team will be directed from the car by Roberto Reverberi and Luca Amoriello.
