VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè wraps up today’s race, the Giro della Romagna, with a top-10 finish thanks to Alessandro Pinarello, who came in sixth.

After an early part of the race animated by the day’s breakaway, the peloton regrouped with about 70 kilometers to go. In the following stages, the pace became selective, and the work of the most active teams gradually reduced the number of riders at the front.

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè stayed in the leading positions with Pinarello, who responded to decisive attacks and joined the group of top riders.

In the finale, the rider from Veneto contested the sprint for third place, finishing sixth. For Pinarello, this result confirms the excellent form he also showed at the recent Giro della Toscana, where he secured fourth place.
