VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè claimed its first significant result at the Tour de Langkawi. In the second stage, from Padang Besar to Kepala Batas, Enrico Zanoncello took third place in the sprint that decided the day’s outcome, after a fast-paced race marked by rain in the opening kilometers.

Victory went to Dutchman Arvid de Kleijn, who took revenge on the winner of the opening stage, Matteo Malucelli, runner-up today. Completing the podium was Zanoncello, delivering a strong sprint well supported by the teamwork of his squad.

Zanoncello commented after the finish:
“This third place is an important result for me and for the team. The rain and conditions were not easy, but my teammates did a great job keeping me in position and allowing me to contest the sprint. Being on the podium at a race like the Tour de Langkawi is a great satisfaction, and I hope it’s just the beginning of a good week. This result gives us confidence to face the upcoming stages in the best way.”
