Third Top-5 in four days for the rider from Verona at the Tour de Langkawi.

Enrico Zanoncello finished fourth in the fourth stage of the Tour de Langkawi, from Kuala Terengganu to Kemaman (141.5 km). For the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè rider, this marks his third Top-5 in this edition of the Malaysian race, after placing third in stage two and fifth in stage three.

The stage, designed for sprinters, ended in a bunch sprint. Victory went to Matteo Malucelli, ahead of Manuel Peñalver and Erlend Blikra. Zanoncello positioned himself well in the final meters, finishing fourth and confirming his consistency among the fastest riders in the sprint finishes.

Tomorrow the Tour de Langkawi presents its queen stage with the uphill finish at Fraser’s Hill, set to reshape the general classification.
