Another solid result for Empoli-born Filippo Magli, born in 1999, who secured a Top 10finish in the bunch sprint on the Legnano finish line, taking eighth place at the Coppa Bernocchi.

The race followed a traditional pattern, with an early breakaway of six riders and several counterattacks on the Valle Olona circuit. About sixty-five kilometers from the finish, the breakaway group was caught, and in the final kilometers a group of twelve riders formed before being reeled in two kilometers from the line.

On the finishing straight, Magli, representing VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè, held his position near the front of the peloton in the final kilometer and crossed the line in eighth place, in the sprint won by Dorian Godon.
