The day after Il Lombardia, VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will return to action on Italian roads, taking part in the Trofeo Tessile & Moda 2025, a new race scheduled for Sunday, October 12, in the Piedmont region.

The team, directed by Bruno and Roberto Reverberi, has selected the six riders who will line up at the start:
Luca Paletti, Filippo Turconi, Matteo Scalco, Luca Covili, and the two Colombians Martin Herreño and Edward Cruz.
A line-up that highlights the team’s focus on climbers and promising young talents.

The Trofeo Tessile & Moda 2025, making its first edition, takes inspiration from the historic Trofeo Baracchi, while introducing a renewed format and a new geographic setting. The race will cover 170.9 kilometers, starting from Valdengo and finishing at the Santuario di Oropa, an iconic climb and a recurring Giro d’Italia stage finish.

The route features a 37.8 km circuit, rolling and technical, to be tackled four times, with Biella marking the highest point of each lap. After completing the final circuit, riders will face the 11 km climb to Oropa, where the steepest gradients in the last 6 km are likely to determine the first-ever winner of the Trofeo Tessile & Moda.

The race will be broadcast live on discovery+ from 2:00 PM (CET).
