COMUNICATO STAMPA

At the Trofeo Serra Tramuntana, the team delivered a strong collective performance: Alessandro Pinarello, Filippo Fiorelli, and Marcellusi himself successfully led the chase of Morgado, battling for the final victory. The decisive move came from Florian Stork, while just behind him, Marcellusi secured an excellent second place, postponing his first professional win but securing the first podium of the season for VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè. Also finishing in the Top 10 was Filippo Fiorelli, who took tenth place, while Alessandro Pinarello finished 12th.
Here are the words of Martin Marcellusi:“Today, I felt really good on the climbs. After Soller, we lost some ground on the descent, but we managed to catch up. I felt a bit too tired for the final stretch, so I fueled up more than usual and noticed that my legs were responding well. The initial plan was to position Fiorelli as best as possible for the final, but he was also quite tired and gave me the green light. When Stork attacked, I didn’t have the energy to catch him. However, I’m very satisfied with this second place. I want to thank my teammates, Pinarello and Fiorelli, who were impeccable, and the entire team.”
