COMUNICATO STAMPA

The northern season kicks off for VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè with the Belgian classics, starting on Saturday, March 8, with the GP Criquielion. The UCI 1.1 category race will see the riders tackle the traditional 200-kilometer course, which, after starting in Ath, will unfold around the town of Lessines through two different circuits. Selected for this race: Federico Biagini, Luca Colnaghi, Filippo Magli, Mattia Pinazzi, Alex Tolio, and Filippo Turconi.
The same lineup will also compete in the GP Pierre Monseré, scheduled for Sunday, March 9. The race will take place on a 201.6-kilometer course that, as in previous years, will connect Ichtegem to Roeselare. The team will be led by sports director Luca Amoriello.
Of the two Belgian classics, the GP Monseré will be broadcast on Eurosport 2 from 3:30 PM and streamed on Discovery Plus, while there will be no live television coverage for the GP Criquielion.
Also on Sunday, March 9, the team will compete in the Poreč Trophy, with a starting lineup similar to the one seen at the Umag Classic. VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will field the youngest team at the start, consisting of Andrea Montagner, Edward Cruz, Martin Herreño, Mattia Stenico, Santiago Ferraro, and Filippo Cettolin—all born in 2006. Leading the young riders from the team car will be sports director Alessandro Donati.
