COMUNICATO STAMPA

Il 17 Mar, 2025
Here are the 7 athletes selected for the oldest race in the world, scheduled for Wednesday, March 19.

Scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, the oldest race on the international calendar, Milano-Torino, will cover 174 kilometers, almost entirely flat except for the final climb, which will clearly determine the outcome of the race.

The 7 riders selected to form the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè team are: at the start, Alessandro Pinarello, fresh from the recent Tirreno-Adriatico. Following him are young Luca Paletti and Colombian Martin Herreño, born in 2006. After a brief break, Roman Martin Marcellusi returns to racing, a standout of this season’s start, having finished eighth in last year’s Milano-Torino. Completing the lineup are Alessio Martinelli, Vicente Rojas, and Alex Tolio.

The riders will be guided from the team car by directors Alessandro Donati and Roberto Reverberi.

The race will be broadcast live on Eurosport 2 and RaiSport starting at 14:20.
