COMUNICATO STAMPA

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has selected the seven riders who will take part in the Giro d’Abruzzo, taking place from April 15 to 18 on a challenging route from Scerni to Isola del Gran Sasso. Despite relatively short stages, the course offers very little flat terrain and will test the riders with frequent climbs. One of the most anticipated stages is the uphill finish in Roccaraso on day three, which could prove decisive for the overall standings. The race will conclude in Isola del Gran Sasso, promising further excitement on a rolling and selective finale.
At the start will be the same riders who recently triumphed at the Giro di Reggio Calabria: Luca Colnaghi, Filippo Fiorelli, Matteo Scalco, Filippo Magli, Martin Marcellusi, and Luca Paletti. Rounding out the lineup is Verona native Enrico Zanoncello, who won last year’s opening stage in Pescara. Directing the team from the support car will be sports directors Alessandro Donati and Roberto Reverberi.
The stages of the Giro d’Abruzzo will be broadcast on Eurosport 1 from April 15 to 18 starting at 13:40, and will also be available via streaming on Discovery+.
