COMUNICATO STAMPA

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè is about to embark on a packed month of racing, kicking off an intense week of competition ahead of the Giro d’Italia. It all begins tomorrow with the Under 23 edition of the Eschborn Frankfurt Classic — a demanding race featuring two ascents of the Feldberg in its challenging midsection, before finishing in Frankfurt after 133 kilometers.
Lining up for the team will be Lorenzo Conforti, Mattia Stenico, Andrea Montagner, Matteo Scalco, and Filippo Turconi, who recently impressed with a strong second-place finish at the Torino-Biella.
On Saturday, May 3rd, the team will head to Belgium for the Flèche Ardennaise, a UCI 1.2 category race known for its undulating route and signature short, steep climbs. Representing the team will be Lorenzo Conforti, Matteo Scalco, Filippo Turconi, Vicente Rojas, and Alex Tolio. The same riders will also take part in the Famenne Ardenne Classic the following day (May 4th), a 1.1 category race that will wrap up the squad’s short Belgian campaign.
The race starts and finishes in Marche-en-Famenne, with the second half of the course featuring four laps of a local circuit. Calling the shots from the team car will be Sports Director Mirko Rossato.
Among the three events, the Famenne Ardenne Classic will be available to watch live via streaming on Discovery+, starting at 2:20 PM.
