COMUNICATO STAMPA

In Stage 4 of the 2025 Giro d’Italia, the 189 km Alberobello–Lecce route, the riders of VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè stood out in the final part of the race. Martin Marcellusi expertly led Enrico Zanoncello through the closing kilometers, allowing him to secure tenth place at the finish. It marks the team’s second top 10 of this Giro, following Filippo Fiorelli’s eighth place in Stage 3.
Stage victory went to Casper van Uden, who crossed the line first in Lecce.
Tomorrow, the race resumes from Ceglie Messapica to Matera with a 151 km fifth stage. The technical finish could prove challenging for pure sprinters and may favor explosive puncheurs.
