Another standout day for VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè in the eighth stage of the Giro d’Italia. After 90 km of racing, the main breakaway of the day took shape, consisting of around twenty riders, including Manuele Tarozzi, who impressed on the climbs, crossing third over the Sassotetto KOM, the toughest ascent of the stage, before losing contact in the final stretch as the pace intensified among the leaders.

From the main group, Alessio Martinelli emerged and finished the stage with a strong tenth place at the finish line in Castel Raimondo, securing the team’s fifth Top 10 result in this Giro.
