In the queen stage of the Tour of Slovenia, the 175 km Maribor–Golte, VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè placed three riders in the lead group: Paletti, Scalco, and Tolio. The latter finished this fourth stage in 11th place, moving up to 10th in the overall standings. Strong performances also from the young talents born in 2004, Scalco and Paletti, who attempted a late attack just a few kilometers from the finish, breaking away from the group of GC contenders. Scalco finished 14th, while the rider from Emilia-Romagna, Luca Paletti, came in 23rd. Tomorrow marks the final stage of the Tour of Slovenia, the Litija–Novo Mesto, live from 11:15 AM on Eurosport 2.
