Filippo Fiorelli achieved another prestigious result in the final stage of the Tour of Wallonia, held on a 183-kilometre route starting and finishing in Bertrix. With a fifth-place finish on the day, he ended the race in tenth place overall, making him the best-placed Italian in the general classification.

These were Fiorelli’s words:“It was my first race after a short break, so I wasn’t sure about my condition. But day by day, I started to feel better, and that gave me confidence. We finished 10th in the general classification, which was more or less the goal we had set. Maybe we could have aimed for something more, but as a comeback, I’m satisfied. The team worked well — we’re building the right form to face the final part of the season in the best way.”
