COMUNICATO STAMPA

The Tour de l’Avenir, considered the “Little Tour de France” for young cycling talents, will also feature Filippo Turconi, who has had a season marked by significant growth both physically and mentally. Already the winner of two prestigious races in the Under-23 category, the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè rider will proudly wear the Italian National Team jersey.
“I’m going to the Tour de l’Avenir with the goal of winning a stage,” Turconi explains, “then, day by day, we’ll also assess the general classification, which on paper will likely be decided in the last two stages.”
Highlighting the value of this young talent is Mirko Rossato, sports director of the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè Under-23 team: “Turconi has grown tremendously this season, both physically and mentally. He has already secured two important victories for the Under-23 category, and seeing him in the national team is always a source of pride for the team. His goal at the Tour de l’Avenir remains to win a stage, although in the last two stages he may try to compete for the general classification if his legs and the team allow it.”
