From September 4 to 7, 2025, the 61st Giro Ciclistico della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia Elite/Under 23 will bring top-level cycling to the roads of the region, starting in Palazzolo dello Stella and concluding with a grand finale in San Daniele del Friuli.

The team directed by Mirko Rossato will line up with six riders. In the sprints, the spotlight will be on Enrico Zanoncello, the only experienced rider in an otherwise young squad. The designated leader for the general classification will be Matteo Scalco. Alongside them, the roster includes Treviso native Alessandro Pinarello, Trentino’s Mattia Stenico, and Colombians Martin Herreño and Edward Cruz.

These were the words of DS Mirko Rossato:“Scalco will be our reference point for the GC. Pinarello can take another step forward, while in the fast stages we’ll rely on Zanoncello. Cruz and Stenico will have the chance to test themselves and see how far they can go, and for Herreño it will be important to regain race condition after his hand injury. We expect a Giro that will allow us to grow and bring home some good results.”
