Ruota d’Oro – GP Festa del Perdono: Fifth Place for Filippo Turconi
Terranuova Bracciolini (AR) – At the Ruota d’Oro – GP Festa del Perdono, an international classic on the Under 23 calendar, Filippo Turconi finished in fifth place.
The rider from Varese was among the protagonists of the race, joining the decisive breakaway formed in the early kilometers and consistently staying in the leading positions.

In the finale, he crossed the line just behind the top four finishers, securing an important result.

The race was won by Britain’s Joseph Brookes (AVC Aix Provence Dole), ahead of Denmark’s Alfred Grenaae (General Store Essegibi F.lli Curia) and France’s Antoine L’Hote (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Development Team).

CRO Race, Stage One:
The opening stage of the CRO Race also came down to a sprint finish, with a solid performance from trainee Andrea Bruno.

The Sicilian rider placed 15th.
