Fourth top 10 for the venetian sprinter, Covili solid among the best in the general classification

Enrico Zanoncello (VF Group–Bardiani CSF Faizanè) claimed his fourth top 10 at the Tour de Langkawi, finishing ninthin the bunch sprint in Port Dickinson. The rider from Verona continues to show consistency, regularly placing among the fastest finishers in this edition.

Stage victory went to Arvid De Kleijn (Team Tudor), ahead of Erlend Blikra (Uno-X) and Manuel Penalver (Team Polti–Visit Malta).

There were no changes in the general classification: Joris Delbove (Team TotalEnergies) keeps the leader’s jersey, while Luca Covili (VF Group–Bardiani CSF Faizanè) remains solidly in eighth place overall.

Tomorrow the race heads to the Melaka–Medini stage (214.9 km), the longest of this year’s Tour, another big opportunity for the sprinters and for Zanoncello to aim for an even stronger result.
