The VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has announced the lineup that will take part in the 44th edition of Il Lombardia, the final Monument Classic of the season, scheduled for Saturday, October 11.

As per tradition, the route will feature a demanding 238-kilometer course with 4,400 meters of elevation gain, characterized by a long sequence of climbs and short, steep ascents. The usual alternation between Como and Bergamo is confirmed: in this edition, the race will run west to east, starting from the shores of Lake Como and finishing in the Bergamo city center.

Making his debut in the “Classic of the Falling Leaves” will be Mattia Stenico, born in 2006 from Trentino, the youngest rider at the start. Alongside him will be Filippo Fiorelli, taking part for the third time, and Filippo Magli from Empoli, born in 1999. Also debuting are Manuele Tarozzi and Chilean rider Vicente Rojas. Completing the lineup are Alessandro Pinarello and Alex Tolio.

The team will be directed from the car by sports directors Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati.

The race will be broadcast live on RaiSport from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., then continue on Rai2 until the finish. Eurosport 2 will offer full live coverage starting at 10:30 a.m.
