COMUNICATO STAMPA

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè has announced the seven riders who will take part in the Veneto Classic, scheduled for Sunday, October 19, the final race of the Italian cycling calendar. The event confirms a route similar to previous editions, starting in Soave and finishing in Bassano del Grappa, but with a slightly shorter total distance of 180.5 kilometers, about fifteen less than in 2024.
The course retains its key features. After an initial flat section, the peloton will tackle for the first time the iconic La Tisa cobbled wall (330 meters at 15.2%), now a trademark of the race, followed by the climb of La Rosina (2.1 km at 6.5%), which will be ridden twice within the Marostica circuit, 12.6 kilometers long. A demanding and spectacular route, perfectly suited to close the season with a challenging test.
The team’s line-up will be the same as the one that competed in the Giro del Veneto, with a single change: Filippo Maglireplaces Colombian rider Martín Herreño. Completing the roster are Filippo Turconi, local rider Alex Tolio, Luca Paletti, Matteo Scalco, Alessandro Pinarello, and Manuele Tarozzi. Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati will direct the riders from the team car.
The Veneto Classic will be broadcast live on Rai 2 from 3:55 p.m. and streamed on Discovery Plus.
