VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè officially announces the signing of Matteo Turconi, born in 2007, from Bustese Oloniaand brother of Filippo Turconi.

The young rider from Varese distinguished himself in the junior category by achieving four official victories, including a stage and the overall classification of the Challenge Nazionale Bresciano, as well as wins at the Giro della Castellania, the Trofeo Pistolesi, and the Trofeo Ilario Roberti. In total, his season victories would be five, also considering the non-official challenge that was not counted in the general classification.

Turconi has signed a four-year contract with the Professional team, valid until 2029.

My goal is to improve step by step, be ready when important opportunities come, and repay the trust that has been placed in me. Racing alongside my brother is a dream come true: we’ve always been on the same teams, but the youth categories often separated us. Now, being able to do it among the professionals is truly special.”
