Medical examinations at Poliambulatori San Gaetano on December 5th and 6th, followed by the training camp in Viareggio and Pisa: the new season of VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè officially begins.

VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè will gather on December 5th and 6th at Poliambulatori San Gaetano for the pre-season medical examinations.

The healthcare facility, with locations in Thiene and Schio, supports the team for the third consecutive year, establishing itself as a highly reliable and competent partner.

Ahead of the training camp scheduled in Viareggio and Pisa from December 6th to 12th, the athletes will undergo the assessments required for competitive sports clearance, under the supervision of the team’s medical director, Maurizio Vicini.

The examinations will include ergometric tests, spirometry evaluations, echocardiograms, and blood analyses, all carried out within a nationally recognized medical center.

Team manager Roberto Reverberi stated:
“Collaborating for the third year with Poliambulatori San Gaetano means being able to rely on a serious, well-organized, and consistently available facility. The quality of the services offered represents a fundamental added value for us. A special thanks goes to CEO Luca Zancan for his continued support and trust.”

The team’s medical director, Maurizio Vicini, added:
“The medical assessments required for competitive sports clearance will include a clinical examination and physical evaluation, anthropometric measurements, spirometry, visual check with optometric chart, resting and stress electrocardiogram, maximal ergometric test on a cycle ergometer, and Doppler echocardiogram. Being able to perform these examinations within a highly professional facility such as Poliambulatori San Gaetano—an institution we are honored to collaborate with—ensures the highest standard of quality and safety for our athletes.”
