The young Italian athlete began his career as a stagiaire with the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè in 2021. In 2020, already a winner of two stages and the points jersey at the U23 Giro d’Italia, he continued to make a name for himself in 2021 with significant results: 4th at the U23 Italian Championships, two podium finishes in stages of the Tour de l’Avenir, and 8th at the U23 World Championships, proving he was ready to compete among professionals. He narrowly missed the top 10 at the Trofeo Matteotti, raced with Bardiani-CSF Faizanè.
With a sharp sprint, he is a potentially winning rider in small group sprints, but he also possesses strong attacking and finishing skills. In 2022, he confirmed his qualities as a modern sprinter, capable of holding his own on challenging climbs and maintaining top positions until the end, as evidenced by numerous strong finishes.
In 2023, he secured a podium finish in the 4th stage of the Tour of Denmark, coming in behind Jakobsen and former world champion Mads Pedersen. He also shone at the Tour of Turkey, consistently delivering solid results in sprint stages, frequently reaching the podium and finishing in the top 10 multiple times. Despite his numerous podiums and placements, he is still in search of his first professional victory.
