Italian climber from Pavullo nel Frignano (Modena), he turned professional in 2019 with the Reverberi family team, quickly showcasing his potential. Among his early results, he achieved a 4th place in the youth classification at the Tour of the Alps, 2nd place in the youth classification at the Cro Race, and 2nd place in the mountains classification at the Tour du Limousin. In 2021, he secured several top-10 finishes in both stage and general classifications of stage races such as the Adriatica Ionica, Sazka Tour, and Sibiu Tour. The following year, at the Giro d’Italia, he stood out with a 6th place in the 15th stage, won by former VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè rider Giulio Ciccone, finishing 5th in the youth classification of the race. In 2023, he gained attention at the Czech Tour with a strong 6th place in the general classification. Finally, in 2024, he achieved a significant milestone at the Giro d’Italia, placing 18th in the general classification, marking his best result in the iconic race.
