4th place for Giovanni Carboni, followed by Filippo Zana, Alessandro Monaco and Luca Covili respectively fifth, sixth and seventh in the queen stage of the Adriatic Ionica Race. Andrea Garosio closes the top10. Team very active on the grand finale of Monte Grappa, but the stage success fades.
The queen stage of the Adriatic Ionica Race sees Bardiani CSF Faizanè very active in the final stages on the ascent of Monte Grappa with Giovanni Carboni, Filippo Zana, Alessandro Monaco and Luca Covili long in the group of the best. In the hardest part of the final 3 athletes remain on the attack, 2 Astana Premier Tech and Giovanni Carboni, with their pursuit Fortunato by the Eolo team and his wheel Filippo Zana, Alessandro Monaco and Luca Covili who rightly do not change the athlete Aeolus having a teammate in front of him.
The treads, however, do not rise regularly with the two Astana athletes who repeatedly try to detach Giovanni Carboni with shots and counter-shots, thus facilitating the recovery of the chasing group. In the final km Vadim Pronskiy (Astana) flies alone towards the stage success, but it is his teammate Kudus who sprints past him and thus also favors the recovery of Fortunato and Carboni.
Lorenzo Fortunato wins with merit, fourth place for Giovanni Carboni and behind him with a few seconds behind Filippo Zana, Alessandro Monaco and Luca Covili. Finally, a good performance also for Andrea Garosio in the top 10.
