BARDIANI CSF FAIZANÈ: MIRCO MAESTRI WON THE GP SLOVENIA, SIXTH SEASONAL SUCCESS FOR THE TEAM.
In Slovenia won the breakaway, with inside the specialist Mirco Maestri, that reach his second success of the season and the victory number 6 of the team.
While the last stage of the Giro d’Italia was run in Italy with the final time trial in Milan, Mirco Maestri scored a great victory in Slovenia, the sixth of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè team this season.
Mirco Maestri was able to fit into the breakaway of the day with the dual objective of trying and allowing the team to stay indoors and thus not have the burden of shooting all day for the possible sprint. The group seems to be in control by keeping the breakaway about a minute and a half away for over 100km of racing. With great skill, also thanks to the experience of Mirco Maestri, the fugitives accelerated and maintained their margin in the final race, reaching five for the final stage victory. Mirco Maestri was so skilled in taking advantage of his quick start and thus seizing his second seasonal success, the sixth of the Bardiani CSF Faizanè.
