Last stage again for sprinters even if the group has to work to close the breakaway of the day. Great work of the whole Bardiani CSF Faizanè that with an intense final forcing considerably reduces the group. In the final he goes head to head with the Alpecin team. Victory to Timo Kielich (Alpecin), second Mirco Maestri (Bardiani CSF Faizanè), third Aico Bastiansen (Alpecin), fourth Giovanni Lonardi (Bardiani CSF Faizanè).
SIBIU TOUR – 9th Covili, 10th Battaglin.
At the Sibiu Tour there is still room for climbers on the demanding final ascent of Balea Lac. Victory of the French Alexis Guerin over Giovanni Aleotti and Fabio Aru. For Bardiani CSF Faizanè resisted for a long time in the group of the best Luca Covili, who loses the wheels of the group less than 3km from the end, but continues to climb at a good pace closing in 9th position at 35 seconds.
