GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: DAVIDE GABBURO TAKES SECOND PLACE IN THE FIRST HALF-STAGE OF TOUR POITOU CHARENTES.
Gabburo secures a podium position in the initial half-stage of the Tour Poitou Charentes, while teammate Enrico Zanoncello claims an impressive 8th place.
The first semi-stage of the Tour Poitou Charentes concludes with Davide Gabburo from Verona securing the 2nd place. Caparbio inserted himself into the day’s breakaway and contended for victory in the tight sprint at La Roche-Posay, marking his first podium of the season. His teammate, Enrico Zanoncello, completed the race in 8th position.
Gabburo’s remarks: “I believed in this opportunity right from the beginning. Sometimes, during semi-stages, a breakaway forms, so I decided to join the group right from kilometer 0, confident that I would reach the finish line. The rainy weather towards the end played to my advantage. The peloton struggled to catch us, and although the final sprint didn’t go as planned, I’m still pleased with securing a spot on the podium.”
