GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ EXTENDS WARM WELCOME TO FEDERICO BIAGINI, INKS FOUR-YEAR CONTRACT UNTIL 2027.
Rider Federico Biagini from Reggio Emilia has joined the ranks of the Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè. Having achieved notable successes this year with Zalf Euromobil Désirée Fior, he is now turning his dream into reality by becoming a member of the #greenteam.
A Reggio Emilia rider has joined Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè team, Federico Biagini, has penned a four-year contract with the Reverberi family’s squad. Biagini is a rider from the team Zalf Euromobil Désirée Fior, for which he clinched victory in three races this season—namely the Fiorano-Fiorano, the Giro del Montalbano, and the inaugural stage of the Giro del Veneto.
Expressing his excitement, Biagini remarked, “Becoming a part of this team starting in 2024 is an immense thrill. The dream of donning this jersey has accompanied me since childhood; I used to attend the team’s presentations (in 2016, I even had the chance to have my picture taken with a group of riders at Fuori Orario, ed.). This is a true honor for me. I’m eagerly anticipating the commencement of this new journey.” Biagini’s sentiments accompanied the signing of the four-year agreement with Reverberi, an event witnessed by his father, Nicola, his mother, Monica, and his agent, as well as former professional cyclist Luca Mazzanti.

“I see myself as a rouleur/climber, someone who enjoys launching attacks and finding excitement in aggressive racing.”
You frequented team presentations during your childhood, and now you’re an integral part of them.
“As a child, I attended numerous team presentations, and this cherished image of the team stayed with me as I grew up. Joining the team fills me with even greater joy. Looking ahead to the coming year, my goal is to evolve by gaining fresh experiences.”
Who’s your favorite rider from the #greenteam?
“Undoubtedly, Sonny Colbrelli stands out as a remarkable champion. Having had the opportunity to meet him, he truly sets a splendid example for young individuals. My admiration for him has been constant.”
Are you acquainted with any of your future teammates?
“I’m familiar with a few of my future teammates due to having competed alongside them. The prospect of embarking on this new journey with the youth project elates me. The remarkable results with the youngsters are evident to all.”
Have you undergone any physical assessments with the team?
“Yes, I’ve completed several tests, and I’m content with the outcomes. I’ve responded well, and the medical team is guiding me through training to ensure I’m prepared for the upcoming season. Anticipation is high as I eagerly look forward to collaborating with the team, with the aim of continual improvement.”
