GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: THE TOUR OF THE ALPS BEGINS ON 17 APRIL.

Monday 17 April marks the first stage of the Tour of the Alps. Five stages to face, one tougher than the other.

Seven athletes have been selected by sports directors Roberto Reverberi and Alessandro Donati, who will lead the team from the team car. A very important test that together with the upcoming commitments will give the first important feedback of the awaited selection for the Giro d’Italia. At the start, given his excellent physical condition, there will be Giulio Pellizzari. At his side is Luca Covili, an experienced rider with climber’s aptitudes and suited to the TOTA route.

Henok Mulubrhan among the starters, the African continental champion will race with his new customised Merak bike. The line-up is completed by Alessandro Santaromita, Alex Tolio, Alessio Nieri and Riccardo Lucca.

The Tour of The Alps that will see numerous World Tour teams at the start, as many as 8, and some of the best Professional teams, as many as 9. The race will be broadcast live on Rai and Eurosport channels, with live coverage of the first stage on Monday 17 April from 13.30.
