GREEN PROJECT BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: LORENZO CONFORTI WINS THE YOUNG CLASSIFICATION AT THE BELGRADE BANJALUKA.
Zanocello finished seventh in the last stage and fourth in the GC.
Statements from the 2004 class of Lorenzo Conforti: ‘I’m happy with the result, I managed to achieve a 2nd place and a 10th place, plus there was also the victory of the second stage by my team-mate Zanoncello, I’m happy to have won the white jersey but we would have liked to win the yellow jersey as well, we have been unlucky. In these four stages I have picked up the race pace for the G.P. Liberazione”.
Enrico Zanoncello, 7th today in the last stage and 4th in the general classification, says: “Summing up, I’d say I’m happy with the victory in the second stage, first at the Tour de Taiwan and now at the Belgrade Banjaluka, clearly the objective was the yellow jersey, but that’s ok, I want to give continuity to my results in the next races“.
The victories for Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè rise to 7 in this 2023, in addition to 14 podiums and 38 top 10 placings.
