De Rosa wanted to pay tribute to the young African Continental Champion Henok Mulubrhan with a dedicated livery for his Merak, inspired by the race jersey.
Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè is proud to present Henok Mulubrhan’s new customised bike, made by historic manufacturer De Rosa to celebrate the African Continental Champion. Cristiano De Rosa, CEO of De Rosa together with his brother Danilo, says: “For De Rosa it is an honour to have prepared a bike with graphics and colour for Henok, the tribute for him and his country makes us involved in what cycling in Africa will be like in the coming years, he has shown he knows how to win and whoever wins rejoices and we rejoice with him.
Henok Mulubrhan, rider of Green Project Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, said: “I am very happy to be able to ride this bike, the design is truly exceptional and it honours my country with the Africa symbol on the livery. This bike represents a great honour for me and an important commitment I have made to my team, my country/continent and my fans, I thank De Rosa very much, I will try to honour this gift with every ride.”
Henok’s Merak features the best components on the market, including Campagnolo Bora Ultra WTO wheels, Vision Metron 5D handlebars, Campagnolo SuperRecord EPS groupset, Favero Assioma Duo pedals with power meter, Vittoria Corsa clinchers, and Selle SMP’s f20 saddle model. The livery, on the other hand, features the colours white and green and picks up the colours of the African Continental Champion jersey. A highlight is the Africa symbol with De Rosa’s iconic heart inside.
