ISTRIAN SPRING TROPHY: PINAZZI-CONFORTI GO 1-2 FOR VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ.
Pinazzi wins ahead of Conforti in the opening stage and is the first leader of the general classification.
Double celebration for the VF Group Bardiani CSF Faizané in the first stage of the Istrian Spring Trophy. The victory was achieved by Mattia Pinazzi, who preceded his teammate Lorenzo Conforti. The athlete from Parma, born in 2001, clinched his first win of the season, the second for the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizané.
Pinazzi’s statements: “I’m really happy, the hard work has been rewarded with this beautiful victory, I have to thank my teammates for this result. The pace and nervousness in the peloton were felt 50 kilometers from the finish; we contained every attempt of attack from other teams. With less than 10 kilometers to go, we set up the sprint perfectly; we couldn’t have asked for anything better, honestly. I thank my teammate Conforti very much.”
