SUCCESSFUL SURGERY FOR SENNI
DOCTORS OPERATED FOLLOWING THE ACCIDENT ON FRIDAY
Yesterday afternoon Manuel Senni underwent surgery at Cesena hospital to reduce the compound fracture following the accident occurred on Friday. Later in the evening he has been released from the hospital.
The outcome was positive although, compared to the very first checks, the fracture turned out to be worse. In addition to the fracture of the scaphoid, the compound breaking of the capitate bone has been highlighted, with consequent crushing of the cartilaginous tissues, which required a double intervention and the insertion of two screws.
Following this situation, the recovery times for the rider of Bardiani-CSF will be longer than expected. At the moment it is expected to keep the plaster on the left hand and forearm for forty days, after which will begin the rehabilitation phase. In this period, Senni will still be able to train on the rollers to maintain muscle tone. Any changes in the timing will be decided only after the medical checks to which it will be submitted in the near future.
At the same time with the clinical process, the judicial iter continues for the investor (tracked by the Cesantico Local Police) after he has moved away without providing assistance to Senni.
