At the Brussels Classic, the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, the only Italian team at the start, stood out throughout the race. The Trentino rider Riccardo Lucca was one of the protagonists in the day’s breakaway. Several riders attacked from the main peloton and joined the leading group, forming a large group of 25 riders. Among them were two athletes from the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, Filippo Fiorelli and Filippo Magli.
The decisive move came from Uno-X rider Abrahamsen four kilometers from the finish, who crossed the finish line solo. Our Filippo Fiorelli secured seventh place, having tried to anticipate the group sprint.
