VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: PALETTI CALLED UP TO THE ITALIAN NATIONAL TEAM, SUMMONED BY COACH PONTONI FOR THE CYCLOCROSS WORLD CUP IN BENIDORM.
Luca Paletti will compete in the Italian national jersey tomorrow in Benidorm, Spain, at the Cyclocross World Cup event.
The athlete from Modena, part of the VF Group Bardiani Csf Faizanè, is among those called up by the National Team coach Daniele Pontoni for the Spanish race reserved for under-23 riders. The team from Reggio Emilia, and especially the main sponsor from Modena, Vincenzo Oliva, who joined the Reverberi family’s partnership this season, are highly pleased. The race is scheduled to start at 12.
Paletti comes off an eighth-place finish in the Italian championship, a result influenced by both mechanical issues and the very muddy course. A strong performance in Spanish terrain could potentially pave the way for the Modena athlete from VF Group Bardiani Csf Faizanè to qualify for the category’s World Championships, scheduled from February 2 to 4 in Tabor, Czech Republic.
