Great start to this Tour of Antalya for Zanoncello, who secures fifth place in the sprint.
The first stage of the Tour of Antalya ends as predicted in a sprint, with another significant placement for the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè with Enrico Zanoncello, who clinches fifth place.
The Italian rider stated: “It was a sprint harder than expected. I started quite far back and tried to make up ground. Nonetheless, I’m happy. We’ll try to make our mark again tomorrow, even though it’ll be a challenging stage for the sprinters.”
Tomorrow brings the second stage, which will summon the most resilient fast wheels.
