VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: SAMUELE ZOCCARATO ON A 200 KM BREAKAWAY AT THE TIRRENO-ADRIATICO.
Zoccarato on the forefront since the start of the race. 200km of breakaway covered in the third stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico.
Still on the run are the men of the VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè, yesterday with Filippo Magli and today with Samuele Zoccarato, who initiated a long-range action in this stage of the Tirreno Adriatico, the longest at 225km. Right from the start, the Veneto athlete joined the breakaway with Stöckly and then launched a solo attack 80km from the finish. Zoccarato was caught 25km from the end just before the day’s GPM due to EF’s forcing. He was certainly the most combative rider of the day in this third stage.
Tomorrow is the fourth stage of the Tirreno Adriatico, airing on Eurosport and RaiSport from 13:05.
