VF GROUP BARDIANI-CSF FAIZANÈ: TOUR OF ANTALYA. SECOND PLACE FOR ALESSANDRO PINARELLO IN THE THIRD STAGE.
Splendid performance by Alessandro Pinarello, second in the stage and second in the general classification at the Tour of Antalya.
Alessandro Pinarello clinched second place in the queen stage of the Tour of Antalya, a challenging finale with a 7km climb on Pavè and gradients up to 14%, where the Venetian from VF Group Bardiani-CSF Faizanè showed excellent climbing abilities, keeping pace with the best. Thanks to today’s result, Pinarello climbs to second place in the general classification.
Pinarello’s statements: “We tackled the final climb very strongly, in the finale Pellizzari caught up and pulled for a while, giving me a great hand, at 500m we were only a few left in front, we looked at each other and I sprinted until the finish line, the sensations are good and I am happy with the result, we’ll see how it goes tomorrow since there will be a lot of climbing.”
