Andrea Garosio wins the ranking of best climber at the Tour of Slovakia. A result built with 3 days races in the attack in the first three stages. iThe Bardiani CSF Faizanè rider conquered most of the GPM of the Tour of Slovakia, beating his breakaway companions.
These are his words after the award ceremony on the podium: “I am really happy with this result, for me it is the first jersey and ranking won among the pros. Due to the stage arrivals designed for sprinters, it was difficult for me to aim for the general classification, so from the very beginning of agreement with the team it was decided to focus on the climbers classification. Getting into the breakaway every day was the hardest thing, then on the climbs I felt very good, so even though my opponents tried to sneak up on me, I reached my goal. I have to thank the team who gave me the opportunity to express myself at my best and my teammates who helped me in all the stages. Now I hope to have other opportunities to highlight myself in the next races, for me they are all important “
