Fran Miholjevic wins from the breakaway, and he will also be the new leader of the general classification, behind him a narrow sprint of the best where Filippo Fiorelli places second, thus conquering the third place of the day, maintaining the fourth place in the general classification and conquering the new leadership of the points classification, as a deserved result of the great consistency shown in these first three stages.

Getting on the podium for a jersey is not like doing it for a victory for this I have a bit of regret, but it was anyway because all my relatives were there, and many friends and it was very emotional. As well as a great thrill and an unexpected thing it was to hear my name being acclaimed while I was on stage. I have to thank all those who have supported me on the roads since the first stage. This jersey is a new starting point for me, I hope this condition continues to rise to do something good and really important in the Giro d’Italia. “
