I wanted to reach my first victory of the season for me, for the team, but above all for all the friends and relatives who overwhelmed me with affection even on the road. We will try again for sure, maybe already in the third stage of this Giro di Sicilia. Today I really felt the race very much, the next stages, even if still in Sicily, will be far away from home and I will certainly find more tranquility and mental serenity in facing them. “ Finally, the third stage of the Tour of Turkey also took place today, with the sprint finish won by Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin) and Enrico Zanoncello’s 19th place, for Bardiani CSF Faizanè.
